To expand our customer base, we are looking for a Business Development Manager with a general focus on the Cloud Native sector.
As a Business Development Representative at 8gears, you will play a crucial role in increasing our business growth by identifying and winning new customers and partnerships. Your expertise in developer experience and cloud native is crucial to understand customer requirements and match them with the expertise of our team.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs and proposing customized solutions to drive innovation and efficiency.
Your ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients and internal teams is critical to your success in this role.
Tasks
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Cloud Native Ecosystem using your industry knowledge
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders, understand their business goals and challenges, and present customized solutions to meet their needs.
- Discover new business opportunities.
- Work closely with our team of cloud engineers and consultants to deliver customized strategies for our clients
- Drive the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, with a focus on outstanding customer service
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments in Cloud Natvie and integrate this knowledge into business development strategies and customer engagements
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions and generate meaningful reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in business development, sales, or account management roles (ideally in the cloud or IT industry)
- Understanding of cloud or Cloud Native ecosystem and IT sales process desired
- Open to new technologies and new sales methods and willing to constantly learn and apply new things
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders and drive revenue through strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical people.
- Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset and proficient in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite or similar
- Ability to work independently
